TID and Solo take Bongo Flava to Dublin

Tanzanians and East Africans living in Ireland will tonight get a rare taste of  Bongo Flava at a gig by TOP band’s lead singer TID aka Khalid Mohammed featuring UK-based Bongo Flava artiste Solo Thang. 

This will be the first time for any Bongo Flava artiste and TID to perform in Ireland.

Commenting on the Dublin show TID said: I feel honoured and I am happy to work with Solo Thang for the first time as we bring our home grown music to the UK.

This follows his performance in London last weekend which was a complete sellout drawing huge crowd of East African living in Britain.
 
TID is currently embroiled in controversy after he unceremoniously withdrew from the Kili Music awards citing favouritism in the nominations.
